FOUNDED BY C. GORDON MILLER IN AUGUST 1955 Miller Buick Pontiac GMC located on Route 1 North in Woodbridge NJ is proud to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. It began in 1955 when C. Gordon Miller purchased the Cadillac dealership on the corner of West Milton and St. Georges Avenues in Rahway that had been there since 1921. Mr. Miller, who had been with General Motors for twenty years, relished the opportunity to go into business for himself at age 48 and founded Miller Pontiac Cadillac on that corner on August 25th, 1955.
The dealership continued to grow, and the Millers' dedication to excellence won them numerous annual awards for customer satisfaction in sales and service. Three generations of Miller family have taken an active role in the dealership including Mr. Miller's son Ron, as well as Ron's children Michele, Ron Jr., and Shari. The greatest changes occurred as Miller relinquished the Cadillac Franchise, and added Buick and GMC to the long-held Pontiac Franchise, and moved to our present state-of-the-art facility as Miller Buick Pontiac GMC on Route One in Woodbridge.
Ronald Miller, current dealership Principal, explains, "Few dealerships can say they've been servicing customers through three generations. Not only am I proud of the thousands of customers and business friends we have established, but I personally take pleasure in meeting the second and third generations of our earlier customers. There is great satisfaction in receiving your customer's trust and confidence over an extended period of time. "Thank You" to those of you who have supported us for these many years and to those whom we will honorably serve in the future."
